World Bites Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

World Bites ("the game") is a food drop-and-merge puzzle game for iPhone and Android made by PNA Electronics and Communications ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses and why. You don't need an account to play, and we don't ask you for your name, email address or any other personal details.

Information stored on your device

The game saves your progress on your device only: the stages you've cleared, your best score, the dishes you've discovered, stars, chef level, missions, event and season progress, the looks you own, a game in progress, your coins, remaining lives, sound and vibration settings, and which purchases you own. This stays on your phone. We do not receive it. If you delete the game, it is removed.

To stop saved games being edited to cheat, the game protects your save file using an identifier from your device. This happens on your phone only, and the identifier is never sent anywhere.

Checking the time

To stop the daily lives refill and daily gift from being skipped by changing the phone's clock, and to spot tools that speed up the game, the game asks a public web server (www.apple.com) for the current date and time when it opens and every few minutes while you play. This is a normal web request. It sends no personal details beyond your IP address, which any website you visit receives.

Advertising

The game shows ads using Google AdMob. Ads appear as a banner at the bottom of the home and game screens, full-screen between games, and as optional rewarded ads when you choose to watch one, for example for a booster, extra drops, a continue, extra lives, coins, the Snack Chest or a doubled reward. Ads are never shown while you are dropping food. To show and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and use information such as your device identifiers (for example the advertising identifier, if you allow it), IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for your consent before ads are loaded, and you can change your choice later in the game's Settings screen under Ad privacy choices.

Learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. On iPhone the game asks whether you allow it to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites to show more relevant ads. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", ads are still shown, but they are less personalised. You can change your choice at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Google or Privacy settings under Ads.

Leaderboards

If you use the leaderboards, your Free Kitchen best score and Daily Dish scores are sent to Apple Game Center (iPhone) or Google Play Games (Android), together with your Game Center or Play Games player name, so they can be ranked against other players. This is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. If you never open the leaderboards or sign in, no scores are sent.

Reminders

If you turn on reminders, the game schedules at most one local notification a day on your phone (for example when your lives are full again). These are created on your device; nothing is sent to us. You can turn them off in the game's Settings or in your phone's settings.

Sharing and challenge codes

When you tap Share, the game opens your phone's share sheet with a picture of your result and a challenge code. Nothing is shared unless you choose an app and send it yourself. A challenge code only contains your score and a number that decides the order of the foods; it contains no personal information.

Purchases

The game offers optional purchases: Remove Ads, the World Pass (opens every destination and removes ads), the Season Pass and packs of coins. These are handled entirely by Apple or Google, through Unity In-App Purchasing. To run it, Unity Gaming Services (Unity Technologies) may receive basic technical information such as device type, operating system version and an installation identifier; see unity.com/legal/privacy-policy. We do not see or store your payment details. The store tells the game whether a purchase has been made, so it can be delivered, and so Remove Ads and the World Pass can be restored on a new device.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. The only parties that receive data because of the game are Google (for ads), Unity (to run purchases), Apple and Google (for purchases and, if you use them, leaderboards), and Apple (for the time check), as described above.

Your choices

  • Say no, or later withdraw, consent for ads where you are asked.
  • Limit ad tracking in your iPhone or Android settings.
  • Buy Remove Ads or the World Pass to stop the banners and the ads between games. Optional rewarded ads stay available, and only play when you choose them.
  • Delete the game to remove everything it stores on your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, We will update this page and the date above.
